1. Scope of Policy
This Cancellation & Refund Policy governs the cancellation, refund, and related conditions for bookings made through the Bookysta platform, including bookings for sports facilities such as Cricket, Football, Badminton, Pickle Ball, Basketball, Volleyball, and any other sports introduced in the future.
This policy applies to:
- Customers booking slots via the Bookysta Customer App
- Venue Partners offering slots via the Bookysta Partner App
2. Customer-Initiated Cancellation
2.1 Cancellation Before Slot Start Time
Refund eligibility depends on how early the booking is cancelled before the scheduled slot start time:

Refund timelines may vary based on the payment method used.
2.2 Same-Day Cancellation or No-Show
- Cancellations made after the slot start time or no-shows are non-refundable.
- Late arrival does not extend the booked slot duration and does not qualify for any partial refund.
3. Partner-Initiated Cancellation
3.1 Venue or Slot Unavailability
If a booking is cancelled by the Venue Partner due to:
- Facility unavailability
- Maintenance issues
- Operational constraints
- Double booking or system-related errors
Then:
- The customer shall be eligible for a 100% refund of the paid amount, including any convenience fees.
- Bookysta may additionally provide Playcoin or promotional offers at its discretion.
3.2 Repeated Partner Cancellations
In cases of repeated or unjustified cancellations by a Venue Partner, Bookysta reserves the right to:
- Temporarily suspend slot listings
- Penalize partner payouts
- Revoke or restrict partner access to the platform
4. Add-ons & Paid Services
Paid add-ons such as Cricket Scoreboard, premium services, or equipment rentals are:
- Refundable only if the main booking is eligible for a refund
- Non-refundable in cases of late cancellation or no-show
5. Refund Processing
- All eligible refunds will be issued in the form of Playcoin.
- Playcoin will be credited to the customer’s Bookysta account within 1 to 2 hours and can be used for upcoming bookings without any limitation or expiry.
- Playcoin is redeemable only on the Bookysta platform.
- Bookysta shall not be responsible for delays caused by system processing or technical issues beyond its reasonable control.
6. Platform Convenience Fees
Platform convenience fees, payment gateway charges, or service fees (if applicable) are non-refundable, except where the cancellation is initiated due to:
- A fault attributable to Bookysta, or
- A cancellation by the Venue Partner.
7. Force Majeure
No refunds or rescheduling shall be applicable for cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Power outages
- Strikes or public disturbances
8. Abuse of Cancellation Policy
Bookysta reserves the right to:
- Restrict or limit cancellation privileges
- Suspend or permanently terminate user accounts
in cases of misuse, repeated cancellations, or fraudulent activities.
9. Policy Modification
Bookysta reserves the right to modify or amend this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes shall be effective immediately upon publication on the Bookysta platform.
